Here is the response to the Department for Transport consultation regarding
Road Safety Compliance.

The response from Derbyshire County Council indicates that the speed limit review will not be public.
Consultations will only happen after the review has been carried out. This falls far short of best practice
Suffolk County Council that introduced 30mph speed limits in all communities that wanted them.

- Number of Quiet Lanes in Derbyshire? Answer: one.
- Number of 20mph Home Zones in Derbyshire? Answer: none.
- List of speed limits for towns/villages in Derbyshire? Answer: no such list currently exists.

18 months after the end of the consultation the updated guidelines on setting speed limits
have finally been released. The Quiet Lanes and Home Zones regulations have also been released.
